Debris in the Wax - Candle Making

I noticed details after melting but I didn't care, after my candles had set I noticed a lot of debris and stuff on the bottom! Be careful not to contaminate this wax

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • Big and Bulky

Excellent quality craftsmanship

I ordered this wax 3 times and then tripled the order after all my candles were burned by friends. I love making candles and the oils soak up great with this soy wax. There will be many more candles to come!

  • practical item

Dirty Wax! for making candles

I ordered 50 pounds of this wax, melted it and found tons of dirt, bugs and debris inside. I run a clean business and I can't sell my finished product with all that nasty stuff. Attention buyers, this wax is very dirty!

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • No Instructions

Gives a rough finish and holes

later I switched from 444 to this 464 as the 444 comes out of my can and it should have been better. Each candle (I made 8) has holes and the roughest surface at the top. You look terrible. Tried pouring 5 degrees higher did not help. I was really accurate and melted at 185 and poured at 125-135.

  • Craft
Cons
  • I will add

Is it still soy?

I received the 50 lb bag, it didn't have much of an odor of its own and melted very quickly and also picked up flavors better than I've experienced with soy. I use soy because it burns very slowly, but my 3.2 ounce test candles (freestanding) burned out in about half an hour. Makes you think about the authenticity of the product. I've used other soy before and it lasted forever, but it was harder to hide its original flavor. 🀷

Dirt/debris in the wax

Although I have purchased this product from this company before, there was some residue in these wax bags, almost like dirt or small bits of cardboard. This is not noticeable during the measurement and sinks during m, but after cooling down and to the bottom. It leaves visible stains on the bottom of my candles and/or melts. This was my first purchase in this quantity and I have had no problems with other quantities before.

Pros
  • Candle making
Cons
  • Disappearance
