Description of 🪨 Premium Natural Coral Base Rock: 20 lbs, 4-8 INCHES Size

100% natural aragonite rock is great for decorating aquariums, conserving natural reefs, coral farming, culturing rocks and growing live coral. Rapidly adapts to live environments and will not affect the cycling of your tank water so it’s easy to set up. Acts as a naturally porous biological filter and is free of biofilm so it’s perfect for aquascaping. Naturally porous surface helps grow denitrifying marine bacteria that help decrease nitrate levels. Works for saltwater and freshwater aquariums and has been pre-soaked to prevent leeching so you don’t need to soak it before using.

Ideal for reef aquariums!

A smart buy. A little breakage although the box was hand handled (not seller's fault) and the stones were a really good size! It's been two months now and they have settled in quickly in the aquarium, perfectly balanced PH and showing good algae growth. My mint shrimp and plants love them.

Pros
  • The best in its niche
Cons

Great offer. suitable for Coral Ornaments

I think it's a great product. I have many stones, all of excellent form. Sorry the photo is not clear. The sediment still settled. I agree with the other reviews, the packaging could be better. There were some shards in the box and a couple of pieces that broke off in the wash. I'm excited to see how my pelvis will thrive.

Ideal! pieces of large sizes.

This £20 order was just what I needed to get my old Biocube 29 up and running in my office. Rinse quickly to remove dust and when I arrived the next morning it was crystal clear. I'll be putting up my 100 gallon reef tank this fall and will definitely be back for the rocks. Thank you!

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Expensive

Good mix of small and large pieces of the main stone

Extremely porous bedrock, excellent for coral fragments and biological filters. Easy to stack and create very attractive aquascapes. This stone is not healed. If you want a living stone or even a hardened stone, pay more. Given enough time to harden this headstone it will make a great material for any marine aquarium. If you want live rock you pay more, but overall not much more.

  • Price
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Ideal for marine aquariums

Exactly the same product at a better price at a local fish shop. The 20 lbs I got fit perfectly in my 32 bio cube. I threw some of the huge chunks on the ground to break them up and get more sizes for aquascaping. But there was already a large variety of sizes. I only needed small pieces. Soak the stones, then rinse well (outside!). After soaking the rocks, I left the plastic they came in and placed it on the grass to wash away the loosened debris. The photos show a few aquascaping ideas, the…

Great description, bad product.

Unfortunately the description says the stones are 4" to 8" in size but it was actually 1 stone 12" x 10" x 10" and two 8" x 6" x 6" and also lots of sand and small gravel. too bad packaging. This product was packaged very poorly. The 3 "bricks" were placed together in plastic wrap and placed in a box that could hold twice the volume so they just banged against each other. very dusty. They proved very brittle and broke into small pieces and lots of debris leaving me with a few pieces of stone to
