thinner than fleshy

I bought this to use as a dry food mixer for my co-workers. She will eat it, but it's not her favorite, it's basically a broth with some meat in it. So if you are looking for some broth, this is a good choice for you. I haven't tasted it, but it smells like chicken :)

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Fairly small packs of wet food

I usually mix wet food with dry food and thought that instead of splitting the 13 ounce jar I could just mix one of these into each of the bowls but they are pretty small . I think I should have paid more attention to her weight. The food itself is great, my dogs are not picky eaters they like all flavors but for the price I just buy bigger 12 pack jars for almost the same price.

Great for my older toy poodle

My 14 year old toy poodle loves this food. She only had a few teeth left so I looked for a good wet food for her that she could eat with ease. She only weighs 5 pounds but eats 1 or 2 of them every day. She eats the only wet food out of several we've tried over the past year on a daily basis. (She only ate some of the others we tried for the first few days after the initiation process.) However, she didn't do well (in terms of digestion) with the grain-free variety. We must stick to the…

Horror for your dog! Do not buy!

This food gave my dog BLOODY DIARRHEA! I brought my newborn from the hospital and all of a sudden my dog started pooping around the house 3-6 times a day! Do you have any idea what it's like to take care of a newborn and clean up dog shit?! At first we thought it was stress from the baby. We ran out of food after a few weeks so I bought another brand at the grocery store. Everything cleared up and I ordered 3 more cases. Last night we gave him a glass and I woke up with shit all over again! I'm

Wonderfully delicious for my picky eater

My picky eater ate it right away and begged for more. It was like witnessing a miracle, I couldn't believe how attractive she found it! It would be great if there was about 1/3 more in each container. This size can only be for cups, not for eaters. My small dog is 12 pounds, only eats when hungry and stops when full. She's a bit skinny but actually the perfect weight for her height. This miracle continues nightly, but I also have to add more from the 2nd container every night. (She only eats…

It even smells like real food.

My 13 pound miniature poodle has pancreatitis and needs a "soft" diet. It's my fault I gave her the leftovers from the table. I had no idea until she vomited some blood in the morning! EGAD. After $1,000 I started buying vet-recommended food for dogs with digestive problems. She loves it. Your digestive system loves it too. I open it and there is no smell! This is real food as written in the content. No, no chemical analysis to confirm authenticity, but she looks forward to eating this one…

Excellent quality dog food

I am not sure of the nutritional value of this product but I hope it contains enough nutrients for my pup. I've been looking for food my picky little brat would eat since I brought him home. I have a 9 month old Pomeranian and he is so picky that he will only eat if I put in some human food like chicken or veggies or sometimes I cook liver. It's really difficult because I cook special food for my dog every night, so I feel guilty. I ended up buying him Rachel Ray Soft Food and he just licked…

My little Maltese loves it but

I need to drain an oily/watery liquid. You don't have to, but with my small dog I find it softens her poop making it easier to pick up. I haven't done extensive scientific research on this, so see what works for YOUR dog. I wash out the oil-water liquid several times with hot/warm water, using my hand as a strainer, then serve warm. She's a bit picky about her food, but has been following nature's recipe for quite some time. one in cups like this one and in chicken/duck/turkey/salmon flavors…
