This treasure chest is well made and cute. But I had to take a ruler and measure it as it's a lot smaller in person. This would be the perfect gift for a child but my original idea of using it as a centerpiece didn't work out. I used it for decoration along with a large one that a friend had. This is a lovely little storage box. The build quality is not bad, the box is not crooked and not crooked with the lid, the hinges are even. However, the decorative strapping is slightly broken and protrudes beyond the body of the box in several places, indicating that it was not properly measured and stretched over the box before it was attached.
