This is a lovely little storage box. The build quality is not bad, the box is not crooked and not crooked with the lid, the hinges are even. However, the decorative strapping is slightly broken and protrudes beyond the body of the box in several places, indicating that it was not properly measured and stretched over the box before it was attached. It's purely cosmetic and doesn't affect functionality in any way, and for the price, it's literally a gripe, just something to touch. It's the perfect size to fit on my bookshelf and hold some trinkets and my bones. It also fits almost perfectly with the small brass padlock I have. The crossbar goes well through the hinges but is slightly longer than the hinge at the bottom of the box. Overall this box is just perfect and exactly what I was looking for. I may eventually upgrade to a larger box when I have more space.
