VOLUNTEER INSTRUCTION

The instruction was not clear on how much water to add to the sand. As a result, the ants could not start the tunnel(s) in time. Over time, the sand hardened and the ants could not dig normally.

Great for kids! - Scientific kits and toys

Bought at the request of my 9 year old son. It's well made and quick to set up. Children are fascinated by ants and quickly build tunnels. Excellent and educational. It's nice to distract them from the screens and get them interested in nature!

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Leaked sand medium

It's LITTLE but it was even more annoying that the sand was EVERYWHERE. Our package was literally split so there was sand all over the packaging box and the product box. It was impossible to save him. Now let's try to figure out what to put there, since we have already ordered ants.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Expensive

That's great! the best in learning and education

I recently caught a queen ant and she laid eggs and they hatched in this enclosure. Easy to open up and add additional tubes to connect multiple habitats (which I plan to do as the colony grows). They were able to dig in a bit and I can watch. Overall happy with this product

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Appearance

Elementary Science Class

Ideal for science background activities for younger stay-at-home children. The container is a training container and ants bought separately seem to like the container. Ants in the sand build tunnels faster and faster. The ants in the blue slime container seemed to be living longer. The kids had to take care of the ants, which served as an ongoing science project, guessing and gathering their own information about the ants. The containers were small, so they could be stored in a small space.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than others
