I like the light. However, the actual light bar mounts to a 19-inch insert and connects with metal clips, which work, but add a bit of play that doesn't make them feel as solid. The rest meets all requirements.

Excellent light, easy mounting to standard network closet rails. It offers enough light to work on the back of the black panel. But it does without a switch that could simply be built into the mounting plate. With the switch I would give five stars.

The light itself seems to work but it seems the item was assembled at the last moment. The lamp was installed incorrectly and at an angle. I had to reassemble it to fit properly in the case. It also appears to be LED rather than fluorescent and cheap. The screws that came with it didn't fit into the case. Disappointed but works.

We installed this in the back of a server cabinet that had a horizontal mounting plate down. Our server closet is in a poorly lit room and this fixture gave us the light we needed. It provides enough lighting for common tasks like cable management and cable connection. If you don't have a horizontal mount, meaning it's pointing down, the light will only provide good illumination of what's mounted directly behind it.
