OK - I have loved my Neato ALWAYS since my husband bought it. two years ago? to me. I just had to replace the brush and read about using this updated brush to reduce the noise Neato makes. I just installed the brush and my neato is working. and I can even make phone calls while my Neato is working! I love it! Too bad I didn't get this brush for a LONG time! It's also easy to switch.

Neato's original factory brushes with "fins" created spatter on contact with hardwood floors and picked up dust and dirt well. Of course, these new brushes are much quieter, and yes, the Neato battery lasts longer because the brushes aren't in full contact with the hardwood. They appear to be floating 1/16 inch above the surface. So they still pick up the big stuff, but they don't completely clean my wood. I always find little things left over. I bought this Neato combo brush to replace the worn, fuzzy, broken original brush that came new with the Neato Signature Pro XV . The original brush lasted almost 7 years. I bought this particular brush instead of other slightly cheaper brushes because they claim in the ad that it is a genuine Neato accessory. I have a dog in my family who rarely sheds, but every once in a while we see clumps of hair lying around the house and it's easier to have a robot vacuum that doesn't forget to vacuum as well for you I don't do this once a week, only on weekends.
