I have owned this monitor for 5 years. This is excellent with Spectraview calibration. However, duplicating it as a TV/DVD monitor has its own problems. This is not the latest HDMI/HDCP. You can't see 4k. It also sometimes causes bars to appear when watching videos. However, the wrong video mode can be part of the problem.

I bought this monitor in September (6 months ago) and it has been good until today when I got the message "no signal/no video input". I turned off my computer, disconnected and reconnected all monitor cables, and turned the computer back on - still no signal. My second monitor works fine. Excellent color accuracy for movies and static images, but slow response times and serious ghosting for gaming. 60 Hz.

I bought this monitor from Adorama about 3 weeks ago because they had it in stock and this is just a quick overview. Coming from a 24" NEC LCD2490WUXI. I connected my computer (690gtx graphics card) to a regular DisplayPort adapter using a Mini DisplayPort adapter and then the DisplayPort cable that came with the monitor. Windows 7 automatically has it as a 4K and 60Hz recognized. There was absolutely no problem running it. I had previously bought another 4k monitor that used a regular TN panel

The screen is beautiful. Connected to a pair of 780 Ti graphics cards, it can now play the latest games in 4K resolution. Adjusting the color reproduction took some time, but after that there were no problems. 4 stars for a dead pixel, but it's in a corner and only noticeable if you look directly at it.

I got this monitor for photo editing, it was very difficult to calibrate but I finally got it right. The resolution is amazing and the colors are amazing. I have it in addition to a cheaper 24" DELL monitor that was actually bought a year earlier. Both were connected to the same graphics cards the whole time. Now the worst. A monitor that offers excellent color and grayscale reproduction, sharp UHD images and numerous connectivity options at an affordable price.
