It's hard to knit, but it's possible!

My #12 beading needles are easy to thread using standard cotton/polyethylene thread with either the eyelet or a standard needle threader. The eyelet on these #13 needles is much smaller and cannot accept regular thread. However, they can be threaded with Coats & Clark nylon thread, which is a suitable weft thread (not warp thread!)

Needles not for beadwork

These needles are better for threading long and straight strands of beads. However, I'm not sure if they are flexible enough to design curved jewelry. I need needles for beadwork. When I tried to use these needles, many of them just broke in half in my hands before I even touched the bead base. Most of the remaining needles broke when the needle entered the bead base.

Perfect size for 4mm drilled gems but HARD to thread

Perfect for hand knitting gems with 0.4mm holes. IF you can thread the needle! I am using size 0 or E 3 ply silk thread and it is still VERY difficult to successfully thread the little eye. Getting two strands out of three through the eye is pretty good (laughs), but hopefully practice will show better results. I started combining a few tips I found in Google search results: 0.
