Loud fan noise. But great light.

Loud fan noise. Cannot be used for video unless you plan to overwrite the background with audio/music. But good for photos. I also have an SL-60W and it's very quiet. Fan noise aside, this unit is on par with the SL-60w.

Pros
  • Do not waste time
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for the elderly

It's ok for the money

I have this on sale as do all my other Neewer products. That makes me unsatisfied. The cable connecting to the device must wiggle for a proper connection. The light is bright but heats up very quickly. The cooling fan is quiet but noticeable.

Pros
  • Sequins
Cons
  • Upgradable

Super quiet, super compact, so-so light output

Possibly best in class. It's about as quiet as a fanned light can get, and the build quality and size are just great. It's as bright as any other 60W light, so comparable. You're unlikely to be able to use this for softbox talking head video, but you'll be shooting at ISO 400-800 with an af/1.8-f/2.8 lens and a shutter speed of 1/50 second . For the price, this is a great flashlight, but it's definitely a beginner's flashlight.

  • Large selection

Great studio light!

Excellent light at a good price. Ideal for small or medium-sized studios. I use it as my main video light and it works great. Gets very bright. Most of the time I don't have a bulb over 45%. The kit comes with a fairly long cord (I still use an extension cord). Ideal for beginners or a great auxiliary light for professionals! The Bowens mount isn't as firm as I'd like, but it's still very secure. The flashlight itself is very portable. I definitely recommend it. The only thing that would make…

Unbelievable! good for lighting

For me the biggest difference with this LED light is how damn quiet it is! I mean it's quiet! The biggest complaint of many, myself included, when buying budget video lights is that they tend to be noisier than their more expensive counterparts. This is not the case with this small, inexpensive gem. This is a dream book; You want to take one, maybe two or three. You are so good. Although they are quite cheaply built. Basically a one-piece plastic body, they probably won't take too many drops…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Clarity

Very good light for compact size and price.

For the price, this is an amazing little sturdy light. I'm a photographer who prefers steady light to flash/strobe. I was traveling and needed something small enough to fit in my camera bag but still lightweight. This Neewer LED light is perfect for my needs! I use it with a Dual Diffuse Softbox and the light intensity is perfect for my needs. There are other smaller continuous LED lamps, but they contain a large power supply. On the contrary, with this light, the power cord is the same as that

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Something different

Definitely a lot of bang for your buck!

Great light! We used it on our last filmed wedding and it was absolutely amazing! Like the remote control. I checked the range and I was on the other side of the house (at least 50 feet) and I could use the remote through the walls and everything. I ran it at 100% for 4 hours as a test and it didn't overheat. The fan runs constantly, even when the light is turned off with the remote control. This is good for what I use it for. In a quiet environment, the fan makes no noise. Definitely shouldn't

Pros
  • Wireless remote control
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Excellent value for money

Excellent light for the price. I got these instead of the Godox SL60 because they were designed for higher lumen output. I don't have a Godox so I can't physically compare them. The quality of workmanship corresponds to the price. It has a lot of plastic and feels pretty cheap, but don't expect a solid $99 metal body. This is my first light and I was on a budget after purchasing the camera and had the best performance for a light source under $150 including fan noise. will break under normal…

Pros
  • Stable and reliable light
Cons

Color accuracy not as advertised

I am disappointed with this light. I thought about it for a while and got bitten when there was a lightning fast deal about a third off over Christmas. I shouldn't have worried. Despite the specified CRI of "95+", the light produces a clearly perceptible color shift towards green in photos. This is unacceptable to me because I need it to work well with the light I already have, which ranges from neutral to slightly purple; It's impossible to solve a tint problem by combining two or more lights…

Pros
  • Strong light output
Cons
  • Some issues
