Great product - tripod heads

I love this product, it's cheap but strong like a professional gear. I would recommend if you are into film and need to use it on a slider on a monopod to get this product.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Upgrades available

Great product, great deal!

This was a great head for my Manfrotto tripod, the locking mechanism works well. I use it for my Nikon D7500 camera. Great product, great deal! The quality is good, durable, easy to assemble and disassemble. I would buy this again.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons

Sturdy tripod ball, love that it has a handle!

This is a pretty solid tripod ball, heavy little guy. If you want to pan the camera, slide the grip smoothly. The range of motion of the mount is practically limitless and covers almost every angle. Check out my full tripod ball video review for more info. Let me know if it helps! Many Thanks

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • No power

For the price this tripod is excellent and value for money. Sturdy construction and holds my Nikon D7200 well. It fits on my Dolica Proline tripod and replaces the Dolica tripod head with an improved ball head. The key point for me is that the ARCA compatibility worked perfectly with the standard Peak Design V1 camera strap plate (allowing me to keep the included plate for the second camera body).

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Lots of accessories

Pretty sturdy - camera and photo

Exquisite high quality ball head mount. It is mounted on a tripod and can be easily removed if necessary. Universal threaded mount for all types of devices. Comfortable clip-on handle, ensures smooth movement without slipping. Detachable for easier storage. Below are measurements for degrees of movement and awareness. A built-in spirit level in the locking knob so I get clear shots every time, whether I'm shooting a panorama, portrait or landscape. Provides a fairly solid base for my camera so…

Medium in size but use heavier equipment with caution

I liked the smoothness of panning, the handle is not very comfortable as it is not long enough, if you want to add a handle you really need to extend it further . I was a bit worried that there would be a tiny wobble on the head itself after screwing in the tripod. it must be solid. Not sure if it's a defect or not, but if you're going to put expensive equipment on it you'll want it to stay solid. I have a 150-600 lens and it handles the weight well, but I wouldn't use anything heavier. I think

Great for my tripod

Really great ball head mount for my tripod. My stand is pretty basic and doesn't have any unique features, but this attachment totally makes up for it. Weighs only a pound so it's very easy to travel with. The sphere moves and rotates 360 degrees around the camera mount. Ideal for panoramic shots, smooth movement and adjustment. Always fully balanced, no matter what position it is in with the spirit level. Attachable handle for easy use and detachable when not needed. The soft camera plate…

Great ball head for the target audience

The $30 ball head isn't something Thomas Heaton carries around on his adventures, but for the price it's a great set. I'm a hobbyist who goes out into nature twice a month and this was a pleasant surprise. Pros: - It's more durable than others I've used in a similar price range - locks fairly well Cons - Lack of instructions (it took me a while to figure out two locking knobs do the same thing) - A little unwanted slippage, but two The locking knobs help quite a bit here - The camera mounting…

Good quality assembly; but uncomfortable features

To start on a positive note, this ball head feels solid. I like that it has a friction adjustment knob. With the ball head's wide range of motion, a little friction will help keep the head from moving too much. I just wish it had a greater range of friction/free movement. In fact, the difference between the minimum and maximum friction settings is negligible. I also like that this ball head can be used to pan horizontally while keeping the ball's position fixed. For some people the level is…
