It's that easy. The flower pieces are thin but as usual you can get enough light through them. The velcro is designed for flashes of different sizes, so it definitely fits Canon and Youngnuo. I love that it has (I think) more than one color in case you lose or tear it.

I bought these gels to use on the LED lights in my outdoor fountain. I choose those that want to give me the color and saturation that I want to see in the light coming from the water of the fountain. I then drill through the whole kit and screw it to the top of my round LED light. They stay in place and work well.

They are very cheap. they are super cheap too. You get what you pay for. Receiving the package and opening it to reveal the magic strap, which is a piece of low-quality Velcro, is about as magical as discovering your parents are hiding gifts under the tree and realizing that the Santa Claus is not real. very disappointed that no real magic is used to hold the gels on the flash. I was hired as a photographer to photograph a surprise 80th anniversary party and when I got there the place was beautiful but the light was purple so all the guests looked purple but with orange gels in this kit. found they all came back to life lol skin tone was back to normal. I look forward to using all the different colors for background changes etc in the future. I love how velcro is included. I wish I could find somewhere to keep them!

I wasn't expecting a pro or even a semi-pro for the price and I got what I expected, clumsy mount and flimsy gels that scratch easily. The Magic Holder Attachment Strap is just a sticky, lined Velcro that you can buy at the store by the meter. No magic involved. Good gel system if you travel with flash. Velcro straps stick to your flash whether you carry it in your camera bag or take it out of your pockets or bags. Try this with gum based gels, you will lose real gel all the time. The quality of the product is acceptable but not amazing: I use about 10 of these gels and on some the Velcro gel holder is falling apart a bit. But hey, they're cheap - I'm not disappointed.
