Bought this bag after reading mostly 5 star reviews. I received it and surprisingly one of the 4 D-rings on the bag that are used to secure it broke when I connected it to the attachment straps. I must have been running the install for 3 minutes when this happened. Then I looked closely at all 4 rings and there is no way these things are going to last long or if you fill your bag to the brim and try to tighten the straps. The bag is great, holds a lot of gear. I attached two straps to the frame under the passenger airbag. The lining was too thin when adding the weight in the bag. The only thing that bothers me is the clasp for the bracelet. They're held on by a very small piece of molded plastic, and if one of them breaks, the strap won't secure the bag. This is a great bag that fits my 2011 Ninja 1000 perfectly. Anything that has a bit of synthetic carbon fiber in it is a plus. I originally bought a Kawasaki sport bike tail bag and didn't care about its features and unreliable attachment system. I returned it (Revain makes it too easy) and bought this one for $10 less. This product is really well made. The lid is semi-rigid with a zippered inner compartment that curves nicely. Unfortunately, I had the opportunity to prove that the rain cover works perfectly and keeps everything dry in a heavy downpour. If you need a little more space, you can simply unzip the extension.
