Good. Not designed for boots. More like shoes.

I love the reflective aspect. I like the traction sole below. I think the shift rubber pad could be bigger and better positioned. It's not easy to put them on the trunk unless you want an extra inch or so sticking out in front of an empty trunk. The design is intended for shoes rather than boots; but I don't ride a motorcycle with shoes on (I don't think shoes are safe enough for riding a motorcycle). I use them best with boots as the shifter can wear down the upper of each shoe a bit after…

The tape literally fell off after a few weeks of use.

Good product but I have a serious problem with it. This morning, after only a few weeks of use, the piece of material (hold the D-ring) holding the strap just fell off. It wasn't damaged or pulled out and nothing snagged, it literally just fell off like it was sewn very poorly. My Amazon account does not allow me a refund. a replacement will be sent to me free of charge, i will send pictures on request. It's easy to see from the rest of the sock that it hasn't been subjected to any harsh…

Pros
  • One size fits all

  • poorly thought out

Does exactly what it's supposed to do: Protects your shoes

Nelson-Rigg shoe protector does exactly what I need in one of these shoes . I've had smaller shift pads that work well but are easily lost, especially when the rubber gives out. This one feels like it uses neoprene stretch panels, but doesn't feel like it will break easily. In addition, the midsole helps maintain traction when you plant your foot on the ground. Yes, on a bike not fitting a "shoe” might seem a little odd, but it's easy to take off and hang on the footrest. It also provides…

Pros
  • Protects your shoes/boots from normal wear and tear, scuffs and abrasions from movement
Cons
  • Pretty much everything is in order

The best defender.

I've been using it for about a month. I bought it used and the loop at the top has already started to fall apart. I received a comfortable strap to be honest, but it didn't affect the function of this product. If only they strengthened that loop, it would be the best boot protector I've found. I have to wear boots to work and they are tan suede. I've tried socks, rubber pads and a leather/microfiber mix boot protector. None of them actually protected my boot from dirt from the road, and only…
