240V 50 Amp, cannot transform to 120V. 6-50P Ground connects 14-50R Ground. 6-50P Hots connect 14-50R Hots. 14-50R Neutral is empty (open). It is more durable than ordinary adapters, using thicker copper wires and high-quality casings, which can charge high-power devices and electric vehicles.

Made the “switch” for my EV charger

I have two each different 220 volt outlets for my EV at two different properties I have and one wasn’t compatible. Rather than changing the outlet at the location having the wrong NEMA plug, I bought this and it works really well for my application.

Worked fine until it didn't

Had this about 4 months and it was fine until now. It took a crap and now I can't charge my car faster than a trickle charge. Of course it's just outside the 90 day support window. BS

Works as expected in my review

This plugs in easily and adapts my plug-in hybrid vehicle's plug without getting hot (OR even warm) Plus, small enough to fit inside the carry bag for my car's electrical cord.

Don't order for your Rv

I thought this would work on my 50 amp server for my RV I burned up the on bord battery charger now costing me all $500 to replace. Don't use for RVs . It needs the 4th leg .

Want garbage here you go!

The connector was wired incorrectly. Improperly ran hot lead to neutral. Luckily it didn't ruin my generator! However ruined my automatic transfer switch cost me $400

Heavy duty adapter - my new review

This is a review for the 6-50P to 14-50R adapter. It's a thick and heavy duty adapter. I did have problems with clearance on my outside cover because the cover was upside down. After flipping the cover around, the adapter fit through the cord hole. I've had no problems charging my car with it and it's covered by the elements.

  • Gives me options to pull up to any house and be able to charge my Tesla!

  • May not be eligible for warranty in certain circumstances
