Our Contractor installed this drain when we remodeled a shower. The depth and slope of the shower pan had to be altered, so if you're not an experienced DIY'er you should consult a professional. The drain is pretty genius in design, can be cleaned easily and has either a stainless steel side or custom tile inlay side. Very nice looking and high quality material (heavy!).

The drain is way too small for a shower that can take this size drain. Can only have one shower before the drain becomes clogged with hair. Water does not go down the drain before the hair is removed.I would suggest a larger hole for water to drain if not even two drains. I would not install another linear type drain. If you are only concerned about how the drain looks and not how well it works, use this drain it does look nice.

It is of good quality and it was easy to install.The problem is there is not a lot of room between the insert and the base of the drain. and it is ket off the base by small plastic clips. the space is so narrow that soap and hairs get caught so I have to clean it once every two weeks or it starts overflowing. A bit late to make a replace it now.

This is a great product and well made! The only problem is that if your p-trap is directly below the drain opening the noise is awful! I had a standard round drain before that allowed the water to slide down the sides of the pipe quietly. This one creates a waterfall effect and the falling water hits the water in the trap head-on causing a loud gurgling effect. I tried to ignore it and get used to it for a few weeks.not a chance! The 48 inch Neodrain linear drain is just what I needed for my curbless shower. The drain is located just in side the shower door and works great with the Quadrato grate pattern. Product is very sturdy and well designed.

Love how pretty this drain looks! East to clean, and it has a little collection point for all the hair. It’s so easy to clean. Really did like this look better than the traditional drain! The price was way better than at Home Depot at $179.

We purchased this drain for our master bathroom remodel, I was immediately impressed by how solid it was, I'm not sure what the gauge is but the stainless steel is very thick. My contractor was equally impressed and he couldn't believe the price, installation went well and it looks great with the tile inset.
