Keep her warm! best wetsuit

Keeps my 2 year old warm during swim class in New England weather. She weighs 26 pounds 36 inches and we have 2T. It's great for growth, but not for losses. You can feel the warm water pouring out as it sits on the rim. It works out! No more shaking.

Pros
  • slim design
Cons
  • unreliable

Splash Suit: Wetsuits

They are a bit big. Don't expect it to feel like a tight wetsuit. Body shapes vary too much at this age. It's great for splashing around on the waves and for protection from the sun and sand. Our 3 year old boy weighs about 32 pounds and is quite lanky. Size 3 fits well but is a bit loose. With any luck, he might be able to squeeze into her next season as well.

and a good size so he has room to grow (he wears.

Bought in 2T for my 1.5 year old son to use in swimming lessons when the pool is warm We ordered this and Aquasphere The wetsuit is thicker material and a good size so it has room to grow (he wears 18mths - 2T) Loved that the zip was nice and long so it was easy to put on - and undressed and served its purpose of helping him stay warm in a cold pool!

Arm and leg openings too large to be effective.

This item fit my 21 month old girl (size 1) but was too loose in the arms and legs making it unusable. After 20 minutes, his lips were blue and he was shaking. For reference, he is about 33 inches tall and weighs 20-21 pounds. I contacted the manufacturer to complain and help troubleshoot, but received no response. Most kids using this are slim build so it needs to be constructed accordingly.

Mixed feelings good for water sports

We bought wetsuits for all of us for our upcoming snorkeling trip to the Caribbean in January but we started using them in the indoor pool for swim lessons as my kids always turn blue afterwards and just tremble in the water for 10 minutes. I liked this one for our little one because it zips up the front and opens up a lot more than the adult and older kids models. This feature greatly facilitates its involvement. However, this does not keep them very warm. The description says it's 2mm…

Just as advertised!

The full zip really makes all the difference in how easy this suit is to put on and take off (especially when wet)! Additionally, the sleeves are made from a slight stretch material, as other reviewers have pointed out. I tried another product that had very small/tight seams on the sleeves that left marks on my LO's arms. This suit doesn't have that problem. I find myself folding the top so we can put the bottom on like shorts. Then turn the top over for the hands afterwards. So this is not the

Nice though. - Water Sports

I have mixed thoughts on the subject. At first I had a lot of trouble finding the right size. According to the online chart, my son should wear a size 2. After multiple purchases and returns we settled on size 1 and even that is still large! The suit doesn't fit my son like a second skin, allows water to seep under him so after 5 minutes of play he's shaking just as badly as before. Although the suit helped with the chlorine rash. The fabric seems to be of good quality but the sleeves are too…

Pros
  • MULTI-SPORT WETSUIT: Kids wetsuit for all water sports like scuba diving, snorkeling, kayaking, surfing, kayaking or relaxing on the beach

Keeps our little one warm

Our adjacent pool is not heated so there are days when the water is very cold. We love this NeoSport wetsuit because the front zip makes it easy for our 15 month old to put on and stays warm for 45 minutes in the water. I knew we wanted him to fit snugly so the suit could do its job and keep/heat the water against his skin. We bought size 1 for our large toddler (31 inches and 27 pounds). It is well made and will last for several years (but of course kids always grow!). We will buy it again…

Pros
  • Should fit snug but not too tight
Cons
  • Does not fit all
