Why isn't the painting finished yet? For some reason there is no Zombiestrike logo on mine. Also, the box it came in smelled so bad that I wondered if I had stepped on something when removing the package. It wasn't until I brought the blaster closer to my face to inspect it that I realized it was coming out of the box and the blaster. Ridiculous.

This is a Hammershot, only red! Which of course makes it a lot better. Very cool paint job that actually carries over to the left side of the blaster. For modders there are no changes from the last iteration (still the solid rail version). No solvent welding. Unlike the latest Stryfe reskin which completely prevents you from making any modifications unless you know how to remove solvent stitching. I love Hammershot, by far the best Nerf design.

accuracy ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I once tried to punch my brother through his window and then I went straight through his open window and hit him. This is the best weapon in my collection at the moment. As you can see, this is a zombie strike. It has a strap to attach to the top and the hammer pulls out very easily. People complain about the smell and I know what they mean, but it's just the usual packaging smell. I have no idea why anyone would try to sniff out the box

I bought two of these (same base pistol just different colors/patterns). I gave one to a kid for a friend's 10th birthday along with some extra darts and kept the other for myself. A pint sized killer is coming after me, I can "run" to the kitchen and come back, SHOOT! As an adult with big hands, I can operate it with one hand, pulling back the hammer/lever with my thumb; This is another advantage I have over my decades-old nemesis.

If you're just buying this for aesthetic reasons, go for it! Otherwise they are inferior to the original. I have one of each color. Each of them had a problem. The spray version I bought barely fired darts at 20ft. Sometimes the trigger would even smack the dart in the barrel, the dart wouldn't come out of the cylinder. Of course I returned all three. I love this blaster and I love the new colors. I find it funny that they ask you to rate accuracy and performance because Nerf guns are rarely good in any way other than maybe the Rival line. However, it doesn't appear to be any worse than the original, which is good enough for me, and I use a different brand of darts as nerf ammo is junk.
