For the style as it is, definitely go one size up. They are snug, so for your child's feet, you may want to size them up to fit their little feet.

These are my son's favorite shoes. Colors and designs are vibrant. Velcro breaks pretty easily, but I guess that's what velcro is all about. Thick, durable rubber. Baby and mom approved.

Great looking shoes. It seems well made to withstand my grandchildren's play. The real problem is that it's too big. His other sneakers and sandals are a size 6 for toddlers and fit perfectly. On this pair, his toes end right where the white toe rubber begins. I put them away until he can wear them. Just be careful when you need them.
