Great full featured firewall/router with no problems

I bought this router when my old SMC Barricade router/firewall stopped communicating with it after replacing my modem with a Motorola SurfBoard. The SMC was beyond useless when I went to the service center for help as the router was out of warranty (note to self - avoid SMC products in the future). Much better than Linksys

I had two Linksys BEFSR41 units - both have failed and as a result I am refusing to buy another Linksys product. Is always. I chose Netgear ProSafe and I'm glad I did. It has a sturdy metal body. (In comparison, the Linksys has a very cheap plastic case.) Setup was easy. I didn't even have to use the CD that came with it. The wall socket (power supply unit) is thought out down to the smallest detail - the housing does not interfere with the neighboring socket of the power strip. (By comparison,

Netgear once again proves it's on top

I hate buying something and then finding out you have to jump through hoops to get it installed and working properly. I don't want to spend two months finally giving up and buying Netgear like I would with any other brand. I bought a cheaper version of the Netgear router and really liked it.
