One of the best for computers and accessories

Netgear makes the best routers. The features and ease of use will never let me switch again. I have used this for two different places and have always been satisfied.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • There are even more interesting options.

Good router.: Router

I bought this router mainly as a backup router so I have a backup in case my other router fails. I tried it and it was a great router. AC routers are far superior to the old N routers I was used to before.

Pros
  • Easy install
Cons
  • Broken

One Happy Connected Family

Proven to be a RELIABLE FAST Dual Band Router. We are the envy of our neighborhood. Above or below he controlled 4 iPhones, 2 iPads, 3 computers and 3 ROKUs - ALL AT THE SAME TIME -! RELIABLE

Product and customer service scam

Has no range unless you stand by. The warranty expires after 90 days if someone helps you, and it's pretty funny when the range is suddenly reduced. When I called support they said I had to pay them $50 to increase the signal range. I said I can't even use it until I get to it. I couldn't even move 10 feet or the signal would be lost! This is not a "area". Also, they tried to sell me customer support for $89 for 6 months in case the signal keeps dropping. For that amount I could have just…

Pros
  • Full set
Cons
  • Expensive

The price of the product was perfect. My old router suddenly died after over 5 years of operation. It was also a Netgear (N300) so I had to buy it from Walmart and after reading about AC Netgear I decided to order this one which cost the same as the N300 I bought from Walmart. Very happy with it so far. Hope it lasts as long.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Empty

Overall not bad. for network products

This is a good WiFi-enabled personal network router. It's just as reliable as other Netgear products I've used. What is good. The only thing this router doesn't get stars for is a minor issue. The router needs to be cycled on and off regularly, about every 2-3 months. I've also noticed that some devices are having trouble connecting to the 5G wireless connection. This is usually resolved by turning the device off and on again. However, this is inconvenient, to say the least. Hence only 4 out of

Pros
  • Robust design
Cons
  • Upgradeable
