still better than my previous router which only got 10-15.

The setup instructions were a bit confusing, I had to completely reset my router to get it working. While the router works as expected, I was hoping for download speeds closer to 60 Mbps but only got 30 Mbps download speeds, which is still much better than my previous router which only had 10-15 Mbps download speeds . Update (06/21/18) ): In less than a year of operation, the router has just made a dump. Completely stopped working, the lights don't even come on for no apparent reason. No…

Cons
  • Hard to say

Older device not supported

I couldn't get this route to work so I called Netgear. They offer free support for their devices for 90 days after purchase. However, I have been told that as this unit was produced in 2011/12 and is already over 4 years old (obsolete) they will only get me free help if I can prove to them that I bought it just yesterday. Needless to say I'm returning it and getting some produced this year. It would have been nice to know about this little piece before I bought it.

Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Reliable and dependable

I've had this router for a few months now and am very happy with it. It was easy to set up (configure name and password settings) and didn't need to be restarted for any reason. It works reliably and stably, which is what I want when buying a router. Netgear has done it again. The router was nicely packaged in a box with all the cables.

Cons
  • Exorbitant piggy bank
