[Network cable scanning] Three scan modes selectable: Digital model/ Analog mode/ PoE mode. [Cable continuity testing] Test physical status for STP, UTP lan cable. [Cable length measurement] Measure cable length and locate fault distance accurately for lan cable.The cable type is CAT5e,CAT6,CAT6a(STP&UTP). The test range must be 2.5m~200m. [PoE Testing & Port Flash] Test the information of PoE device, such as PoE voltage, power supply polarity, power supply mode. It can also identify which the type of PSE (at/af standard) If it is standard PoE device. If it is no-standard PoE device, it only display โ€œnon-standardโ€. Locate network port by the flashing port light on Hub / Switch. Available to 10M/100M/1000M Hub/ switch. [Non-contact voltage detecting] Detect AC voltage presence (50V-1000V). You can press the "Power/Set" button on the receiver, if the "NCVโ€indicator is light on, then you can use the receiver to detect AC voltage presence.

Best tool for the price

My only complaint is that the length isn't the most accurate, but it's good enough. I've tried several tools and this is the only one I still use.

Solid budget option for digital scanning

I was looking for a mid-range toner with a digital mode and ended up with this one. I've been very happy with it so far, the display is easy to read and all the features I've tried have worked as expected. Both analog and digital toning work great. The blink/flash function is also very practical.

Great value - one downside

This worked great for my job (a day or two after arriving). The only thing that is a bit annoying is the power button on the probe. It's incredibly easy to accidentally turn it on when you put it in your pocket or put it away. Plus, it's excellent value for money. Hopefully they will have some durability although they seem to be made quite well which is shocking for the price.
