New Balance Men's Athletic 520V5 Cushioning Running Shoes Review

This shoe is very light and comfortable. I have 2 pairs of running shoes and always choose them for cycling. It feels like there is no extra weight on the legs. Using that logic I would assume these are great running shoes too, but I don't actually run so I don't know. Even if it's cold outside, you should wear warm socks as the mesh fabric is not very insulating.

The best shoes I've ever bought. they are incredibly comfortable. I use them for everyday life and for running. I love how wide they are, my toes finally have the room they need to wiggle while still supporting me.

Initially I loved the product but after 5 weeks of wearing it there was a hole in the mesh lining on the top of the right shoe. Always bought New Balance and never had this problem.

I have another pair of the same shoes (in a different color) and they are the most comfortable pair I have ever had on my feet. On the last set, the paint sprayer blew up and I needed a new one. Feels just like the last set - like a glove.

The shoes are very good but they fit too tight on my husband's foot. Tried 2 sizes but to be honest he probably needed the width in this shoe.

NB is one of the few brands that provide exact sizing. As a person with frequent foot problems and pain, these shoes relieve them. Excellent cushioning and support. The shoes will last a while too. I usually buy 2 pairs every two years.

These are my favorite athletic shoes. Most of the time I just go for walks and do light exercises at home. Nothing crazy, no long walks or jogs. But these shoes are the best; This is my 3rd pair, have been using this particular model of shoe for about 6-7 years. They're easy to wear, right out of the box. They are great for all day wear when needed, the laces are strong and long enough to tie a tie at the heel. They look good, fit well and are true to size. Quite comfortable even on wider feet.

I have no complaints. They're pretty comfortable. They keep their shape well, so they do not require special care. They are pretty easy to turn on and off. Very similar to slip-ons. Every time I get a stain I just rinse the area with water and let it dry overnight and voila. He is no more.

This shoe is very comfortable, offers great support and looks great. The fit is accurate, as always with NB, I found. Good everyday shoes. I believe they are also good for training.

Pretty good shoe for the price. Bought for convenience at Disneyland. I never got a chance to try them there due to Covid but I bet they will be great.

They're comfortable, beautiful to look at, durable and easy to machine wash (don't tear apart). I love NB shoes and this pair proves it once again.

I liked these shoes for long walks and everyday wear. I bought a couple pairs for $40 last year, not on sale. I don't understand why they are so expensive. This is a basic shoe, I see no justification for such a high price now. Very disappointed.

These fit exactly as expected. They looked just like the photo. They could be built a little better if they had better materials to last a little longer. They didn't last long with normal wear and tear.

Very great show with very bad lacing. The tip is released every 30 minutes. When you exercise (running or jumping), the laces are untied every 10 minutes.

Fits perfectly! I'm a size 14 but when I come to a new balance I always buy a very wide one. NBs are usually narrow at the toes, so if you're looking for the perfect fit, try wide or extra wide, but keep the same size! Should this particular shoe not fit you, please use the following shoe sizes 2E or 4E for love of Christmas to indicate the width! 2E= wide and 4E = very wide! Example: NewBalance 520 v5 4E men's running shoes.

These shoes give me the support and support I need with bursitis, hammer toe, flat feet and foot arthritis. This is my second pair and I am waiting for the third pair to arrive. My seller shipped quickly.

UPDATED: Shoe material is dissolving! These shoes are literally falling apart more and more every day. I only wear them for moderate treadmill use at the gym and they fall apart quickly. The rest is comfortable and stylish. But badly designed.

After reading the review I got very high and they fit me. High quality running shoes. Extreme quality insoles without support. I have my own stake in it.

The shoes look great, are light and very affordable. The Bad: With wide feet, they're narrow, not 4E wide. For me, the combination of not being wide enough and being so light makes me feel insecure when walking. For those who have good legs I'm sure they would be good for them. I bought them mainly for going out and they serve that purpose.

I like the color I like the fit I like the sole, it doesn't feel like sand on a beach I don't like it, it's not made in the USA, that's one of the features advertised by New Balance
