Superior Performance with New Balance 996V3 Court Tennis Men's Shoes Review

I love these shoes. The wide fit has a perfectly roomy toe box for my feet. I play tennis three to four times a week. They definitely last six months, which is the standard warranty for most running shoes. This is my fourth pair. I have four pairs, so I will still have my favorite shoes if future design changes prove unfavorable.

I was hoping this shoe would fit, but it didn't. The material is so stiff that the instep above the arch of the foot is not padded. Disappointing.

Much lighter and more comfortable than my previous NB leather pumps but with a stiff heel support that helps with pronation issues. I found my new pickleball and tennis shoes!

One of the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn playing tennis. This shoe offers fantastic foot support. I play tennis and pickle every 4-5 times a week. My last pair lasted about a year. I will buy again.

Really good shoe but feels a bit narrower than other new balances. I buy new scales because I'm a size 15 and they're usually quite wide.

Exactly what I was looking for in tennis shoes. The shoes lasted most of the summer (Pittsburgh) tennis season. I usually wear out my tennis shoes very quickly. They are very comfortable and light (also for size 12.5 2E). Also the color is a bonus with many compliments from other players.

I have foot problems, so my podiatrist prescribed me New Balance 2E and insoles years ago. The last one lasted almost 3 years. I've always worn 10.5s with insoles but these 996s fit a bit smaller so keep that in mind when ordering. Everything else is as it should be.

This tennis shoe is perfect for people with wide feet. I couldn't find any other pumps that fit my size. Well done New Balance. Keep making shoes like this.

Too tight at the foot. I have worn a size 13 with a comfortable fit for many years. In this case it didn't work. Also the color wasn't as red as on my iPad. Returned without problems.

The color is interesting, it fits perfectly. I order a new pair of New Balance shoes about every three months and love that I don't have to break them in.

I've had about 5 different tennis shoes in my life and these are by far my favorites. Side-to-side movement is controlled and my feet feel secure in fast turns. Highly recommended for hard tennis courts.

The shoes are too small, the new balance is the same size I have bought for the last five years, there is no reason for such a big difference.

I've been wearing 2E New Balance for 5 years now and they fit me perfectly. This model is too narrow even at 2E. I hope this doesn't mean the new Balance will make all of their shoes narrower like Asics did.

I bought these shoes for my son who is a size 13. The shoes are very small, the same size, the new balance I've been buying for five years, there's no reason they are so different

As mentioned, not only does this shoe run small, it also compresses the forefoot. Additionally, the "fit and finish" of these boots is very disappointing - the way the tongue is sewn into the boot leaves a lot to be desired, and the extra fabric inside the boot rubs the feet. Finally, the plastic edging that houses the lace holes is extremely stiff, and the same plastic edging also impacts the forefoot when tying. I will definitely come back and look for a better solution.

I've had the NB 786 for several years and bought this shoe because I thought I wanted to upgrade it. Size 2E is perfect for the 786 but is very narrow on this model. If you have wide feet, be careful!
