Bought these for my 5 year old for school. I don't want him or his teacher to worry about the laces so velcro is perfect. They look better in real than in the pictures!

I love new shoes for balance, especially for kids. They wash well and are generally adorable. However, the velcro on this pair came loose just over four months after I bought them. Not the quality I would have hoped for from a new balance sheet.

My boy has very wide feet and also wears orthopedic insoles. For no good reason we tried other brands before buying this one again. Lesson learned - these shoes are great! Inside there is enough space for orthopedic insoles, as well as enough comfort and closed space. I love her! Just like our son!
