New Balance Men's Sneakers MR993

I was looking for an American made shoe that gets tougher every year. Most shoes will literally fall apart in no time if worn every day. The soles will wear down with very little use and initially have little to no support, making them impractical for actual use. Although such cheap shoes may seem cheaper, you have to constantly buy new shoes, which means that you pay a lot more if you buy low-quality shoes. Would you rather pay $50 every 6 months if you wear cheap shoes all the time, or $100…

  • Brilliantly Made

The black rubber outsole is falling apart!

I have been buying new scales for over twenty years and they are great! But I bought the last two, one online and one in a shoe store, after about 5 years the black rubber outsole separated from the inner rubber. I began to believe that these are Chinese fakes or their quality has deteriorated. I wonder how many people experience these errors. Back then prices were between $65 and $100 (I think!). Conclusion: Great shoes twenty years ago. Fall apart now = Bad!

. More expensive Balance sneakers come in some pretty crazy colors

New Balance's high-end sneakers have come in some pretty crazy colors over the last few years and I've been keeping an eye on them for a while now. currently. These were supposed to be my "everyday" shoes: running errands, walking, etc. After a few weeks, I wasn't happy with them anymore. This is the Legacy series which doesn't look perfect compared to other offerings from New Balance. They look fantastic but quickly become uncomfortable after an hour or so, even if I'm just sitting at my desk…

Sturdy, Comfortable, Reliable, Durable

I've owned several pairs of these shoes over the years and they are the only ones that actually last a couple of years while still being durable and comfortable. These shoes offer excellent arch support which is a huge plus for me as I have virtually no arch. These shoes were the first ones I was able to find after surgery that were comfortable yet provided the support I can count on. There is a solid couple of them that are over 6 years old.

Pros
  • Regular Price
Cons
  • Easy Care

New Balance Men's MR 993 is no better than NB 992

I've been wearing the New Balance 992 for several years (I would definitely give it 5 stars). Due to chronic foot problems, they are ideal for work and leisure. I wear them all the time, and in fact I wear a few a month (I know it's hard to believe but it's true). I like the pillow and the support. I have tried other similar competitor shoes with no success. However, when the NB 993 came out I bought a few pairs and found that they didn't offer the support I had previously gotten from the NB…

New Balance 993 matches trendy sneakers

I bought this shoe online (first online shoe purchase) and was disappointed. I was expecting a replacement for a heavily worn size 11 991. Complaints: The bow isn't as good as the 991 - this was a key feature I liked about the 991. With the 993 I hardly feel any bow. The 993 doesn't seem to fit as well as the 991 and not as comfortable to walk on. He looks clumsy and clumsy. The laces are too long and of poor quality. The laces are already starting to tear. I also don't like the way these shoes

This isn't 993

THIS IS NOT 993. This is the 993 'Legacy Collection' which I think is just an excuse for New Balance to offer you the same style of footwear without premium materials or construction for sale. If you've ever worn the 993's you know the instant comfort you get when you put them on - these ones I got through Amazon just seem cheap and low quality in comparison. Lighter, less comfortable, made from inexpensive materials.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • No uniform required

Great running shoes made in America

The best athletic shoe I've ever worn. I'm not a runner, although I walk a lot. This shoe gives me the support I need and is comfortable. I've had this model and the 990 for at least ten years. I often buy New Balance shoes to try out other styles that might look more stylish, but I always go out with this one. They're expensive, but for comfort and support, they're the best. My only complaint is that they're a little heavier than I'd like, but maybe that's the price of great support. By the…
