My son has very narrow feet, so tightening the laces usually ended in snapped laces or torn shoes. Luckily they allow him to fully tighten the boot with no problem.

My kid loves these shoes! The problem is that part of the sole peels off after 35 days. I hope it was just something with this couple?!

The locking mechanism is simple and ideal for small children. However, the rubber sole on one shoe started cracking/peeling after 3 months. I understand how important longevity is for young children, but I expected more than 3 months for active 5 year olds. That's why I give 3 stars.

Very happy to receive these shoes and we went by their sizing chart. We measured our daughter's foot and ordered what had to fit. When they got here they were too big. So I would advise ordering your size by size. We had to send ours back and Amazon doesn't have the size they really need.

This shoe is not suitable for playing children. A month later, holes appeared on the fingers, and after 3 months, the tubercle of the boa constrictor broke off while walking. Unless you're one of those parents who tells their child not to run for fear of tripping and falling, we strongly encourage you to remove those shoes.

This was our second pair. The first ones have held up great and my daughter loves them so she got a new pair for Christmas. We had to send one back as the stitching on the underside of the tongue was loose. I'm not sure if I would have survived or not. The replacement pair and the original pair she had did not exhibit this problem.

I would not buy them nor recommend them to anyone. They had problems from the start. They were replaced once and the second pair did the same. The button on the side breaks off and you cannot tighten the boot. garbage, be careful. It's hard to believe that NewBalance actually makes these shoes. Maybe they are fakes?

Such a cute shoe and my son was so pleased with it but we have just started term and the shoes are starting to fall apart. What a disappointment. Pooh!

This was the third pair of these shoes for my son as he loves them. The previous 2 were amazing and held up great. On this particular pair, the bottom of one boot came off on day 2 of wear. We tried super glue but it didn't last a day.

We appreciate the crank improvements as the rubber used to wear out very quickly. They are amazingly durable and can take a lot of hard play! We treat all shoes with a water repellent spray to make them last longer!

It is wonderful! I work with children who have special needs and this is a game changer! I even bought them for my son who has fine motor skills issues (e.g. tying shoelaces). He loves them and brags about them! Have been wearing it almost every day for 3 months now.

The tension mechanism confuses me but my 8 year old loves it. I always think they're broken but she seems to be able to fix them, I mean they're not broken and she's just showing me how it works.
