Long overdue review: Bought these for our 8 year old son. I have to say... I was a little jealous. They looked really good...like I would wear them if they were my size. My son struggles with shoes but they lasted quite a while. The fit was just right. They are very easy to clean. My son loves her very much. I definitely recommend them. You are super cool.

I really liked them at first, but the strap started snapping/disengaging from the shoe after my son put them on for the second or third time. They fit well and my 2 year old seems to maneuver well in them. I'm just very disappointed in the quality of New Balance.

My son loves these shoes. I don't like that, when we hand washed the shoes for the first time the New Balance logo on both tongues was also washed off. Not happy with how much we paid for it.

Slightly larger than other 1 Waids, will grow into them soon. He chose them (almost 4 years) and is happy with how they feel.

It's very easy for my 2.5 year old daughter to sit up and down and I mean it may not be scientific but she says it makes her at least 25 times faster!

My daughter loves these. They are very comfortable and true to size. I was afraid her legs would slip due to the lack of laces. Not the case at all. She can walk around in it. You are much prettier in real life! Underneath the mesh is a metallic material that glitters in the light. These are very good quality shoes.

I love these shoes. They are easy to put on. The writing on the upper of the shoe will wear off over time, but I don't mind as long as it says they're comfortable and very easy to put on. He has no problem with them loosening during intense outdoor play.

These sneakers are adorable. My child loves them and can wear them for all his activities including running. I was worried they would slip off but they hold up great even when given room to grow.

My 3 year old loves these shoes. I think they are the most comfortable for him as he will prefer them to other tennis shoes of the same size. Will definitely buy them a size up when I outgrow them.

My daughter only had them for a month before the elastic strap broke apart from loving the shoes but you can't wear them without the strap so they are useless now.

The shoes had to be returned. It is VERY difficult to get hold of my baby. The heel is very small and slips off immediately. Unfortunately as they were very cute.

Broke when my daughter wore it for the first time. Before it broke she loved them and found them very comfortable. The size was true to size.

Got these for my 8 year old in May for play shoes, check the tear by August. She doesn't wear them every day or run hard or anything. Really disappointed with this quality of the brand, like a new balance.

This is the second pair we are exchanging for the same reason. Bad design and breaks after a few days. As you can see the rest of the shoes are like new! I've only had them a week and my daughter isn't that picky about shoes than the average 7 year old so these shoes are a crappy design and product!

Bought a size 4 for my 14 month old daughter who will soon outgrow her 3 but they are too big. It's ok we just keep them but they seem a lot bigger than their new size 3 sneakers. They are really cute although great shoes.

Great shoes! We are used to skaters and I think this brand is very popular because I ordered a size up for my two kids and they fit the same as their current shoes which are almost too small. So order a full size and they are quite narrow too so make sure you have underwires unless your child has a very narrow foot. Very nice shoes, kids love it.

Just bought this for my 10 year old daughter and she loves it. Great fit and great looking shoe. On the 2nd day of wearing they were dirty and she got them dirty. I wiped them down with a washcloth and soap (like I've done with dozens of sneakers in the past) and didn't notice that wiping them faded the lettering and some of the letters came loose. Now I have a 10 year old girl who is unhappy because her mother ruined her new shoes. :(. She is so sad and I am sad that I tried to clean her but…

I'm joining the club of people who bought these shoes for their babies and have high hopes for this famous brand. My daughter's shoes broke in the same spot in less than 2 months. They were her school shoes, not play shoes. So it's not like she was strict with them. They still look brand new, apart from one of them being so torn that they can no longer be worn. The poor child also liked these shoes. So I will most likely order another pair and most likely I will have to return them a few months
