The size is very different (and already narrower) than its predecessor

Overall I'm very satisfied, but wow! My old New Balance shoes from five years ago were 7.5D. Thanks to other reviewers I switched to a 4E width and everything is fine, but strangely I had to reduce the width to 7! So basically I went from 7.5D to 7 4E to get the same size. in general, the skin does not look as beautiful as before, but that can only be imagined. I actually checked twice to make sure it's still listed as a leather upper because it feels a bit like plastic. Other than that they…

The left shoe has a short tongue which causes it to slide sideways :(

New Balance Women's WW813 Walking Lace Shoe, White, 11 B US I really like this shoe. I have special orthopedic insoles, which i have to wear in my shoes these shoes work great also there is no seam on the pinky toe which used to rub on my pinky toes making the shoes very uncomfortable slips to the right side of the shoe causing pain on the top of the shoe Foot where the laces run along the edge of the tongue The tongue of the left shoe is more swollen when held better The right tongue is not…

great support but very comfortable

I wish these shoes came in more colors for my size, I would buy another pair if I could get a different color. This shoe is very comfortable from day one considering how high the support rating is. I didn't have to break them in like most shoes, they fit great and give me the support I need to be active in my job. I'm a nurse and I have to be on my feet several hours a day and not have to worry about foot pain when I get home. I get the support I need and the comfort I expect from New Balance…

love these shoes. for women

Due to COVID 19 and my age I don't want to go anywhere to try on shoes, which I usually have to do because it's difficult for me to find the right size. I have a wider forefoot with arthritic changes and a narrow heel. So I need a big sock especially for my left foot. I have arch issues so I need to be able to fit orthotics in my shoes. I buy New Balance shoes because they best suit my situation. So I bought this pair in a size 8 to make sure the front is wide enough. Unfortunately width 8 was…

This is a good shoe if you don't need to use medical AFOs

So far I've had good experiences with the New Balance 800 series in the 4 E width. It's a good shoe if you are no need to use medical AFOs. I tried on the shoes without the insole as with the 810 and 811 as space is needed for the braces. Once the shoes were on when I tried to tie them there were large gaps on each side of the tongue clearly showing the foot/sock. This shoe model has been narrowed down and the material, especially on the tongue, has been reduced. These are shoes recommended by…

These shoes are very thin, tight and boring looking

The first impression is how cheap the shoes look in real life. They're leather, but they kind of look like cheap faux leather. They also have a simplistic design that's more about cost savings than elegance or style. The fit is just not acceptable. They are too tight. Compared to my New Balance 1540v2 in size 9.5 4E, these shoes (same size) feel shorter in length and much thinner in width. I would say the sock is almost half an inch thinner despite being the same size and width. This is aided…
