Description of 🐷 Introducing the Innovative New Pig Blue Absorbent Sock: Your Ultimate Liquid Spill Solution

The heaviest of the sorbent socks we make features extra-dense construction to hug floors and stay in place while containing spills. Fine-grade vermiculite filler quickly absorbs leaks, drips and spills; great for spill response or absorbing machine leaks. Stitch-bonded, polypropylene skin resists bursting; reduces dust and holds in liquid, even when hurricane sock is saturated. Spill socks absorb and retain oils, coolants, solvents and water. Ideal for diking and damming liquids to prevent spread of any leak or spill and make up clean up even easier. When tackling larger spills that require more than one sock, overlap the absorbent socks by at least 6” to avoid the spill from leaking through the barrier. Need a smaller size? Try cutting one end to desired size and re-close with your own plastic zip tie. Each sock absorbs up to 95 ounces of liquid; each box absorbs up to 9 gallons of liquid. Not suitable for either the washing machine or dryer as the sock may become damaged in the process and filler loose in the machines. Only suitable for air drying. Socks should not be left in direct sunlight for long periods of time. Prolonged UV exposure will cause degradation.

Hopefully we don't have to find out if they work

Our furnace humidifier leaked and flooded part of the basement so I bought it in case it happens again. I also put them around the hot water tank, water pump and water softener. I don't know if they work as we haven't had another leak, but these pigs look clean and don't smell, so we're done. It's been a year since my original review and due to the insane amount of rain, our basement was leaking in a corner due to an overflowing drain. I had 3 pigs near this location and they kept the water…

They work well but New Pig shouldn't skimp on junk

I bought these pigs to scavenge the winter grime that cars bring into the garage. I have used old towels in the past and it was a big mess. They are very good at absorbing melting ice and dirt falling from cars. This is probably a new market for New Pig (they are usually sold for industrial/machine shop applications). I bought the 48" version so they would be easy to handle and store in the summer (an old trash can will do). Now for the cons. They don't fill socks, so they're not really 3…

They do what they're supposed to do - with a few caveats

We had a small leak in our basement after a major ice storm and I got tired of wringing out towels and waiting for them to thaw. To solve the Problem. So I bought a pack of these. So, here are my observations.1. First of all, if you need to throw something on the ground to prevent the sudden flow of water from spreading, it will definitely help. Not everyone absorbs that much water before the water flows through. I suspect part of the problem stems from the fact that these "socks" are more…
