I commissioned them to make a Christmas craft with friends. You were perfect for what we did. This is a nice heavy glass. The top is silver but you can see in my photo that it is painted black. It was the best price and much nicer than the ones I've seen at the dollar store.

The holes are the same size and the pepper seems difficult to shake out. Slightly large for home use. It's always nice to have additional patio table accessories and an extra stuffed/clean set for company. I'll actually try to expand some of these for bigger pepper holes. They were designed for commercial use and not for home use. I like less salt, but I prefer more pepper, and I don't want to shake, shake, shake!

Perfect! Approaching size, well packaged, arrived safe and sound. The chrome lids look way better than the copper lids on the same shakers I bought at the grocery store a few years ago which bend too easily. The only regret is that I couldn't order a smaller amount, but a lot for a restaurant. I like having multiple sets, but I'll probably have to share them with family members to use them all. Excellent purchase!
