I am very happy with this cutter. I can cut a whole mountain of potatoes in a few minutes. The prep that used to take me an hour now takes 10 minutes including cleaning. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who eats a lot of french fries. A few more thoughts: It takes strength to push the potatoes through. If you're looking for french fry cutters, this is one of the more expensive ones at Revain. Please believe me, a $20-30 cutter works much better. I bought this so I can cut 1/4 inch fries like McD's.
