These powerful fans work well. My husband installed them in concrete walls on our patio. The biggest problem was getting the screws into the sides, they were a bit tricky to open without bending the pieces holding the fan shrouds together. The noise level is quite high on the highest settings. I haven't tried lower settings as we live in Florida and it gets very hot all the time. The fan is good overall, but not great. There are vibrations that can be caused by an imbalance in the fan blades. The instructions are poorly written. This is not a schematic, just how to mount the fan to a metal pole or brick/stone wall. The included mounting hardware does not look like any of the suggested locations. I really like these fans! We built three barns and I didn't want to risk using cheap box fans. Horses love fans and I'm grateful I don't have to worry about overheating or an open engine picking up dirt and debris. Installs in stable for night time use to blow onto roost. I've looked at a number of hermetically sealed fan motors, this one seems to cover all my needs. Even at low levels it moves a lot of air, didn't have to use it high.
