So far, so good! on Sockets & Accessories

Installed at the beginning of the holiday season to make the Christmas tree look nice. Since then it has worked flawlessly every day. So far, the only downside, if you can call it that, is that it's so new that it's not yet in the database that Home Assistant uses for devices. But it still connects and works fine, just has a lot of "unknown" name fields. I also like the switch's small form factor, although it pains me to think that the built-in socket is off-center. The only thing I can't…

Pros
  • Easy to install: no wiring required. Simply plug the device into an outlet and connect it to a hub to enjoy the convenience of a smart plug.

Functional and responsive Z-Wave plug. Excellent Quality

This is a good Z-Wave connector for the price. I use this on Hubitat and it's very responsive. While it lacks the advanced features of other plugs, mainly power monitoring, the price couldn't be better. This plug supports the full 15 amps, is easy to toggle on and off, extends your Z-Wave network and can be manually bypassed. It's quite large compared to some of the pocket outlets I have, but it faces sideways so it doesn't block a second outlet in an outlet. However, it blocks the socket on…

Pros
  • Voice Control: COMPATIBLE WITH ALEXA AND GOOGLE ASSISTANT (Z-Wave certified hub required). CANNOT connect directly to ECHO PLUS!
Cons
  • Expensive

We set it up to turn on the light when the ceiling in the room turns off and then turn on the light when the ceiling turns on and it works like a charm. We use Homeseer to control our zwave system and it recognized this switch with no problems. But it's just a switch so it doesn't have dimming, it doesn't have power control and it's really only good for light loads, which is exactly what we wanted/needed. It distributes…
