We had to climb a tree a lot. It was a little tricky mounting it on a tree but once we sorted it out we were done. Great belts for all the trees in our garden. My 5 year old can use them for climbing and they were strong enough to hold adults.

These things are amazing! To be honest I was surprised how tight we were able to get them. You can change the grips or move the straps as they get bigger or more secure. They even stopped me and my husband when we tried. Now kids love to climb our Christmas tree! Great toy and great price.

I think that the main problem with them is the need to adjust their own expectations. If you're expecting this to turn your trees into a climbing wall, you're probably adjusting your own expectations. They work as advertised and are sturdy. They will most likely need to band together more closely to make climbing easier. We had some slippage, which is normal when you attach yourself to a tree.

Great product. Be careful, the ratchet handle may come loose if overtightened. I bent one after a long draw. Very sure. Make sure the handles are pointing in the right direction. Keep most of the handle under the harness to keep it from detaching from the tree. The kids love it! Most likely, another set and a rope ladder or something else will be added to the neighboring tree.

Great for that tree in your garden that has tall branches but your child wants to try climbing. Don't you have a stone wall for her? Making a wall out of wood is a more difficult task. They are relatively easy to build and quite strong. I bent one of the ratchets when tightening, but it has bent back and is holding up well. With the prize of seeing my son climb a tree like he used to do in gym class.
