    worth buying in Tester

    This product is good for measuring electrostatic potentials. It comes with a ground wire and an instruction manual. This is not the NEWTRY brand I received as the name would suggest. You will receive a Simco ION model as shown in the photo. Still a good buy

    It works right out of the box

    It was packaged very well. It's easy to work with considering I never used this device until I learned how to use it in 10 minutes. If you search, search on YouTube, there is a video that walks through the entire process of unboxing, using the machine, and storing in one video.

    An electrostatic field meter is well suited for electrostatic charges.

    I was happy to see that this is indeed a Simco FMX-003 unit, calibrated in Japan and CofC is included in the order. This field meter outputs a voltage just 1 inch from your device to the sample. Voltage between materials can be read from a distance, but I need to know the distance (in inches) and multiply that distance by the reading on the meter to get volts per inch.
