Disappointing Powerline Ethernet Adapter

The NexusLink Powerline Adapter Ethernet GPL 1200PoE is a major disappointment. Based on my experience, it constantly loses connection and slows down the internet speed. The setup was also incredibly complicated, even for someone who is familiar with computers. The only positive aspect is that it can support PoE, but that doesn't make up for its numerous flaws. Overall, I would not recommend this product for anyone looking for a reliable network adapter.

Pros
  • Easy to set up and use with no additional wiring necessary.
Cons
  • Requires an electrical outlet near both devices for optimal performance.

Handy solution for POE cameras

I don't need Wi-Fi IP cameras and using Cat6 for a new camera location wasn't practical in any way so this worked perfectly for me. Now I'm kinda waiting for the rest of the WiFi cameras to die so I can replace them with POE cameras and these modules!

Pros
  • Powerline network adapter
Cons
  • Frequency

Works great for POE cameras

I have several UNIFI cameras that needed POE and Ethernet access outside of my CAT 6 run. They worked well for the system. Having POE and Ethernet on the same adapter was a plus. .I can't vouch for its use as a high speed internet system, but for the UNIFI camera system, it provides a stable connection.
