Of curiosity. for spare parts

Covers and seals could be made from the same molds as the original parts but from a slightly thinner material; However, the springs must be adjusted to fit - the end that would normally fit into the ignition coil contact does not fit, leaving a gap that arcs inside the shoe. That way, when you need to replace silicone rubber parts, they will work perfectly - don't bother changing the springs.

Pros
  • Automotive
Cons
  • So-so

Made in China, not Japan or the USA. But still quality

Unfortunately not made in Japan but in China. Interestingly, the NGK boots for my friend's Mazda 3 are made in Canada. They look almost exactly like the original boots. I think the Denso equivalent is made in Thailand.

Pros
  • Durable workmanship
Cons
  • Not the best

They fit just like the originals.

I bought this for a 2012 4Runner. When buying a used car, one of the seals was missing. I contacted Toyota and the only way to get a new gasket is to buy the entire coil assembly. I only used the gasket from that kit, not the spring and tip.

Pros
  • Happy so far

  • There are cons
