Reconditioned Performance

The only issue I had with these spark plugs was the POS tool I bought to set the spark plug gap. The 40-year-old tool measured and set the gap better.

  • Heavy Duty Finish

View before you buy

I bought these before and thought they were expensive at the time. Bought recently and reinstalled. I happened to check out a competitor site and found it for almost half the price. My fault for not looking, but it won't happen again.

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than others

Perfect fit for my 2013 Chevy Cruz Eco

These spark plugs have been recommended for the Cruz on some online forums. I was very happy that they already had .028" clearance, just what the Eco needed. Mileage seems to have increased slightly and performance is definitely better. I bought a 6 speed manual gearbox.

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.

NOT FOR Suzuki M109r

I bought these for my 2006 Suzuki M109r. I was guided by the forum posts that were for this bike. I'm in the process of changing them. These are NOT the correct forks. Just look at the picture. The threads don't match at all. I give 5 stars because these stubs are great in other uses.

  • Certified

Over 2 years and no problems so far

I bought these when I upgraded my turbo to K04 on my MK6 GTI. This was the recommended update. I found and bought them straight away from Revain. Easy enough to install if you know what you're doing, otherwise I've had no problems with it. PS: Always apply anti-seize to the threads before installation before you find yourself in a world of aches and pains when you have to remove them again a few years later.

Pros
  • Easy install
Cons
  • High price

Mk6 GTI with tuned ECU

My VW Mk6 GTI has an APR setting and they recommend a 0.024" (0.023" - 0.025") gap. This means they must be crimped with a factory preset gap of .032". Another reputable tuning company requires .028", so I think the factory wide gap works as intended. Note that these spark plugs are 1 stop colder than the standard GTI's iridium, which is brittle, so if you scratch the electrode, splitting the steel wire or turning the dial indicator to adjust it can do more harm than good. Leave it as an easy…

Gap went from 0.026 to 0.040 in less than a year

update review. I think the gapper tool I got here is inaccurate causing me to overshoot it, probably to around 0.036. This could have directly affected the life of the spark plugs, I'm not sure, but I have to believe it affected them. I bought these for my 2011 Cruze daughters. The first few months they were fine and the engine seems more responsive but now after about 8 months and probably 8000 miles they are firing under load. When I installed them I set them at 0.027, but when I looked at…

Pros
  • Absolute Legend

  • Not the best
