Spark plug leads do not fit properly and after 2 hours of trying to install something that was supposed to take 5 minutes I installed them. Now, 6 months later, the wires are bent. No guarantee etc.

Unserviceable wires - Coil arcing straight through the screen out of the wires on 2 out of 6 - I ended up replacing coil pack x 2, harness, connectors etc crap only to find out that new wires are junk.

The cap that snaps onto the spark plug was too small. If I had used extreme force, I might have been able to force her. But I'm not sure I could take them off. Also, the housing that fits over the coil pack was shorter than the original.

I thought they were great until I got to the last one, #1 which I had to tap with a hammer to install as did the other reviewers. . It just doesn't snap manually. The connector was also an NGK connector and had no problems with the original cable and housing. I can only assume that the new cable was defective.

I bought this set for my 2.8 V6 Passat. They were very difficult to attach to spark plugs (including NGK). The wires started breaking and arcing after a very short time and I replaced them with another set after only four months and 1400 miles. I am very disappointed with the quality control of these wires.

Like some other reviews, poor quality control. The spark plug boot was too small to fit over the spark plug on 2 of the 3 wires I tried before deciding they were faulty and returned. With two wires it would not have been possible with any effort to fit the plug over the plug, although the third latched properly, as 40 years of experience had shown the amount of force required for assembly. Wasted an hour trying to identify the problem.

Misfires after replacing original (16 year old wires). The shop mechanic says it's because of those wires and claims they don't fit the end of the spool snugly. I doubt his claim and refused to pay over $120 for VW cables. I believe the problem is with O2 sensors and nasty cats. We will see. This rating either goes up when I'm right, or drops sharply when the store's independent mechanic is right. Find out after replacing two cats and rear oxygen sensors.
