This product is well made and easy to use. It is easy to remove and attach when you need to disassemble or adjust. And it's light, so my setup doesn't weigh me down.

I would highly recommend this shoulder pad to any other shoulder pad. Lots of space and holes to attach weights, V-mount batteries, etc. Very handy.

This build is amazing! The cheese board is a nice touch. I wish the rails that came with it were longer as you can always slide them forward or back. The shoulder pad is unfortunately a bit narrow for me, but for the price it's hard to beat.

It has all the features you need including ratchet screws, multiple threaded holes and Velcro to hide the cord. You can attach a battery to it and get the right weight distribution. The bars are short but my other rigs have longer bars and I always set them to that length or less.

Overall a great system but my raiser broke after the first use. How can I just send this part in for a new one if I bought it as a kit? EDIT Super impressed with the response and the time NICEYRIG gave me to send me the new Z Raiser so I can get back into action. Thanks guys, I appreciate it!

The equipment looks cool, but the buttstock mount is in a completely different place than the picture. I assumed the bag contained the correct Allen key, but I was wrong. So I grabbed the other keys that came with my setup and they both didn't fit. How can you ship a product that can be customized without the right tool to make changes? Most likely they will send it back and buy a branded diff. really pisses me off

I have built a shoulder rest out of 15mm tubing for use with DSLRs, the Canon Cinema EOS range and other similar sized cameras. The shoulder rest has served me well on several shoots and has a comfortable (removable) foam pad. I only wish it came with the necessary hardware to mount the shoulder mount directly below the camera and also stick out behind it as I had trouble reconfiguring my shoulder mount to have the camera sit directly on my shoulder. Overall a good investment so far.

This shoulder pad with rails and rail mount is perfect for any gear you want to carry on your shoulder. You can choose if you want the camera to be flush with your shoulder by removing the rail lock, or if you prefer the camera closer to your head you can just leave the rail lock on and position it either up or down.
