🔩 Nickson 17350 Clamp-A-Stud 1/4-inch to 1-3/4-inch Review

I ordered part #17350. The fork and fasteners were different thread types, the fork was M10x1.5 and the hardware was 3/8-16. I submitted a replacement request which was promptly granted and I received the unit with the same issue. The seller must open each unit in stock to ensure this is not a problem.

I had a rusty exhaust stud on my 2007 Saturn. Why is the exhaust system made of stainless steel with steel flanges and fittings?!? Yes, it's really just the glorified screw clamp. However, it does have a few nifty little features that help it adapt to a range of unconventional situations. The kit includes some additional parts that can help position the clip depending on whether the broken bolt is recessed or partially open. Both ends of the clamp are threaded and only one end accepts the supplied hardware. Luckily I was able to search my Bin O' Spare Bolts to find something suitable. I also had to modify the part that screws onto the long screw.
