A great tool for improving image quality

I love that it has so many features, including one-tap bracketing! It's extremely easy to use (I've only used about half of its capabilities). The UI isn't very intuitive at first; there are several steps you need to take in order get all your settings correct. But once you do understand how things work, this software becomes incredibly powerful. You can easily create stunning images with little effort. If you're looking into using post processing techniques like exposure fusion or tone…

Pros
  • One click bracketed exposures
  • Tone map editor is great for working around color shifts when doing black &amp#233 white conversions
  • Easy photo editing toolset available through Photoshop integration
Cons
  • No manual focus assist
  • Manual focusing takes time

Works great even from an onboard audio recorder

I have been using this software since it was released, back in 2011. It has always worked flawlessly with my Nikon D3200 DSLR camera. The only thing that bothers me about this program is the fact that you can't use your computer's internal microphone as input source if you don't want to buy external microphones. This isn't really much of a deal breaker because the software works very well without them anyways. If you are looking for something easy but powerful to create high dynamic range…

Pros
  • Easy interface
  • Great results once all settings/settings correctly configured
  • Can apply effects before saving or during editing (this feature allows quick post processing)
  • Multiple output formats available; including JPEG file format used widely by almost every photo sharing site out there today.
  • Supports multiple resolution shooting from low resolution compact cameras such Canon G

Best High Dynamic Range image processing tool

It's fast, it gives you options that are just not in any other software out there right now. You can have your images look like they're from one camera or 10 cameras at once! I don't dislike anything about this app so far - if you want something simple give Fx Photo Studio a try first because i think it has more features but will take longer to learn how to use them correctly than with Nik HDR-EfexPro. My favorite part of using NikHDR-EfexPro is being able to create different looks by adjusting

Pros
  • High quality output for many formats.
  • Easy interface/useability when shooting photos; great learning curve even though its easy enough anyone could pick up quickly after an hour+ practice session
Cons
  • Not much control regarding individual channels' WB
  • Somewhat expensive
