I took the advice of another reviewer and ordered a size up and they fit perfectly. The only downside to these shoes, although they are comfortable, is that they are made of fabric and not real leather. My feet are sensitive to textile materials, so I can only wear them occasionally. I really miss the days when tennis shoes were made out of real leather and not fabric and other materials.

These are pretty versatile sneakers. They look good, have good ankle and arch support. Haven't taken them running yet, but I expect they'll get the job done given their light weight. As for size, yes, you should go up about half a size. I have 8 and 8.5 fits well. I can feel the front of the shoe a bit with my toes but it doesn't cause any discomfort.
