Quite tight on the sides initially and even after wearing. The tips are very tight at the toes. Much worse when I first got the shoes but they loosened up a bit over time. I still can't wear them for too long or my toes hurt a little.

(husband speaks) I replaced the Adidas Crazy Light 2.5s with these and they lasted all the way. Better fit, better court control and lighter. Overall better performance. I'm glad I switched to Nike Hyperchase. If you are a security guard then these shoes are for you.

These shoes are very snug, I had to order half a size up from my usual size and they are still quite comfortable. The larger sizes still seemed like a bad idea as I use them for court sports and need more lateral stability. Remember that all of the heel pad comes from the insoles! and no midsole. The shoes are beautiful, the sole is comfortable. They look nice and are very light. My only issue with them would be that they are on the narrow side. My foot is not very wide, I wear normal width shoes, but these are narrow. So much so that when I tie them, I almost run out of rope. The solution can be as simple as longer lines and keep working with it. Unbound they feel great. They are half a size smaller than my last pair of Nikes.
