What you need, a cool purchase, I advise you.

I chose my first DSLR for a long time, read reviews, reviews, opinions. I didn’t want to buy old models . And at first I decided on the choice of d3100 with an 18-105 lens, but then they offered to buy for the same money with a good discount - d5100 with a standard kit (18-55) and I agreed and did not regret it. I’d better buy a telephoto later, otherwise there aren’t enough focal lengths. In general, I am very pleased with the choice, good luck to you too!

Pros
  • 1) Excellent photo quality, many different interesting modes, effects for shooting 2) An excellent clear swivel screen, photos look even better on it than on a computer monitor. 3) It holds the battery charge for a long time, it showed one division yesterday, but I had to go to my birthday, just in case I took a charger with me, but it was never needed, I still can’t “land” the battery) 4) Good built-in photo processing functions.
Cons
  • 1) The memory card slot cover is already starting to "wobble" a little (like the D3100) 2) The price, but I took it at a big discount and fortunately it didn’t affect me)

Wonderful quality, one hundred percent satisfied!

This camera, I personally have only a little more than a week, but more than five hundred photos have already been taken (almost all of them are photosets in nature, indoors) and I am very pleased with all of them! Here they say that Sony is better than Nikon, but after all, Nikon has more experience, all photographers prefer Nikon, don't they? Well, this is an eternal debate! I just expressed my opinion! Now there is a whale lens 18-55, I like it) I advise everyone! I watched a video on…

Pros
  • Probably, he himself is a solid dignity! But still, I was very pleased with the rotary screen, very convenient! The quality of the photos is very pleasing, even with the 18-55 kit lens.
Cons
  • The battery is weak, but for a day and a half, almost active use, I almost have enough :)

I expected mediocre quality, but the product was pleasantly surprised.

Decent model. After some time, I can say that there is not enough functionality, but for that functionality you need to decently overpay. No service is an understatement. We do not have an official Nikon service center in Hong Kong. After a month of use, I bought a fix 35mm. There was back focus on all lenses. The 35 lens has a small depth of field. I handed it over for adjustment to the service (sent to Hong Kong). They gave it away, they said that everything was fine. I had to spit on the…

Pros
  • Shoots well. Small enough.
Cons
  • Lack of alignment through the camera menu. There is no ignition of remote flashes. No service.

A great option for this money, I definitely recommend it!

an excellent amateur camera, amateur not just in terms of photo and video quality, but in terms of slightly truncated opportunities for instantaneous change of shooting modes (but this can perhaps even be attributed to a plus). I always have ISO on the button, and paired with SIGMA 50 1.4 EX - it's just HUBBLE :) if you're thinking - don't hesitate, it's just better than all the closest competitors.

Pros
  • I've been using it for over a year now. I can say with full confidence that the device is really very good, ergonomics and components, the quality of materials and the whole design as a whole are 5+., The quality of photos and videos is on top.
Cons
  • not found.

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Everything in the product suited me, the price is generally perfect.

We took the device before the holidays - we are very pleased with the pictures, in comparison with the old "soap dish" heaven and earth. It is very easy to use, the pictures even on the machine are quite acceptable. Even in poor lighting conditions, quite high-quality shots are obtained from hands, due to small distortions at high ISO sensitivity. The standard lens for the first time is just super. And of course, there are huge opportunities for further "growth" :) It's good that there is an…

Pros
  • My first DSLR, what else can I say - beauty, bullet, fire :)
Cons
  • When framing through the viewfinder, I align the horizon by points (horizontal) - the photo turns out with a slightly littered horizon :( I don’t understand whether the hands are crooked, or the lens is twisted at a slight angle, or the points are crooked. I’m going to take a picture from a horizontal surface - hands not coming :) When shooting video, the autofocus motor makes noise when focusing, and this sound is heard very loudly on recording - if you want to record high-quality clips, you need to use an external microphone.

I expected more from buying, but not the worst option.

I'm not a professional, but I started taking pictures from the "Change" experience. For a long time I chose my first DSLR, the purchase is not cheap for me. I bought a D5100 with two kit lenses 18-55 and 55-200. Result: total disappointment! Photos are out of focus! NO WHERE! NO WAY! It's just that somewhere better somewhere is clearly missing. Hands themselves are drawn to my ancient Olympus with 3.2 megapixels, which cost 3 times cheaper. Here is the focus and color reproduction. IMHO If…

Pros
  • Ergonomics, speed, sensitivity, powerful processor.
Cons
  • Result!

Everything in the product suited me, the price is generally perfect.

I bought with the hope that I would take pictures 2 times more often. And so it happened. After the usual, digital soap box for 8k, this DSLR is just infinity compared to the Zhiguli. He took great pictures, despite the fact that I am a self-taught amateur. I explained it to a girl who does not understand at all, so also good photos. I plan to buy a larger lens soon. I take every vacation with me to take great pictures.

Pros
  • Great camera for the right price!
Cons
  • There is no cover included. Built-in memory of at least 1 GB (or SD included).

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Everything is fine, I liked the product, I bought it for a reason.

One of the good models for those who want to learn how to work with a DSLR in manual mode, but do not know how. The auto modes work well, so even your grandma can take some cool shots. And do not listen to snobs, what is in the photo is much more important than how it was taken. If it's faster and easier for you to shoot something cool on the machine, shoot it. About filming a video. The camera in general was promoted as one of the solutions for video amateurs. But the video is mostly shot on…

Pros
  • The carcass itself is very good for the money. A good choice of automatic modes in case you don’t want to bother your head, but just shoot. In manual modes, it also behaves quite adequately. Makes good jpegs, sometimes I don't even bother with editing RAW. For such a price, the level of noise at high ISOs is also quite low. If you practice and master photo post-processing (which even the most professional pros are doing very actively now), you can use it to make very beautiful and juicy pictures. The video is pretty good too.
Cons
  • Autofocus is not the fastest. And not always very accurate. At least on a whale lens and other lenses of the same level. The 18-55VR kit lens that I had quite noticeably "soaps" the picture. Noticeable loss of sharpness and color of the image when viewed at a scale of 1:1. As a result, when using it, it is better to save photos in a lower resolution. After using other, sharper lenses, one gets the feeling that the pictures are always and everywhere a little out of focus, or that the sensor is smeared with Vaseline. Not the most capacious battery, especially in the cold (well, this is the nature of batteries in general).

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best product, from those that I have viewed, I advise everyone!

I bought my first mirror and I am very happy about it, as this camera model will give you flawless photos even at automatic settings, but I recommend taking it with the 18-105VR lens, since it has a pretty decent magnification and the quality of optics and automation is on top, especially since the kit comes with a free lens hood and a case for the lens, and although this is a trifle, it’s nice, you will also have to buy an SDHC 32 GB flash drive for them. will be quite enough, and only 10…

Pros
  • 1. NIKON 2. Photo quality on automatic settings 3. Rotary screen 4. Long battery life 5. Lens for the first time, only 18-105VR 6. Sooo many different settings 7. 1 free tuition at Nikon school 8. Fast, convenient, stylish, reliable.
Cons
  • 1. A bit dark video finder (feels like) 2. Not as fast in live view as through the video finder 3. The plugs, the compartment of the flash drive, the battery open too easily (maybe something will be lost or broken soon, maybe not) 4. May look heavy with 18-105VR lens

Good product at a good price, I recommend to try it.

I recently bought this miracle of technology as a gift for a girlfriend. I'll write about the quality of the photo later. But what I immediately noticed after 15 minutes of testing is a very uncomfortable grip. A small protrusion on the right does not allow holding the camera with one hand at all. Despite the fact that this model is one of the lightest, but because of the poor grip, the hand gets tired. I regretted that I didn’t listen to the guards and didn’t go to the store to feel the…

Pros
  • Quality build. Nothing creaks or wobbles.
Cons
  • Poor grip and uncomfortable in the hand. Few blanks for quick photo changes.

The price/quality ratio is great, I will buy again.

I bought Nikon D5100 kit 18-55 not so long ago - June 27, 2022. What can I say. A camera with HUGE potential. There are many settings. Everything you need is quickly configured - you quickly get used to it, and the absence of any buttons on the case is no longer so important. This is a camera for those who know how to take pictures, and not just press a button! With knowledge and skills, pictures from it cannot be distinguished from more professional (and expensive) models. The matrix…

Pros
  • You can write about the merits for a very long time) Low-noise matrix, at high ISO, swivel display, convenient, has all the necessary settings, takes excellent pictures, matrix from the D7000 model. In two words - this is NIKON !
Cons
  • Flaws? - No, I haven't heard it.

A valuable purchase, some advantages!

For a long time I was looking for a replacement for my super zoom soap box, choosing between the Canon 600D, Sony SLT A-55 and Nikon d3100. The models are good, but somehow they didn’t catch on with the photo, I wanted something else. As a result, I really liked the D7000. Stunning image quality, rich functionality, everything with it. But I would not have mastered such a price tag soon, but I wanted a camera. And then came the D5100. I looked at a couple of reviews, I liked the camera; doubts…

Pros
  • 1. Excellent photo quality across the entire ISO range. 2. Good color rendering. Warm and bright colors are a Nikon feature. 3. Quick readiness for work, turned on and you are already shooting. 4. Video recording in Full HD 1080p (was one of the important parameters when choosing a camera). 5. Simple menu, convenient and fast operation. The absence of additional The buttons don't bother me at all. 6. Build quality (filled with sea waves pah-pah, the camera has not lost its performance). 7. Stylish appearance. 8. Photo processing inside the camera, HDR, modes. 9. A wide choice of autofocus optics. 10. Very convenient swivel display (constantly helps when shooting video). 11. Pretty good and sharp kit lens.
Cons
  • Probably, nevertheless, autofocus when shooting video. I would like it to be silent. Of all three of my lenses, each leaves its mark on video.

Good product for me, no problems at all.

An excellent camera with numerous functions. At the same time, it is easy to operate (so if you are a beginner and this is your first camera, then feel free to buy and do not be afraid of anything since the GUIDE mode (“Help Menu”), user manual and CD reference are included with the camera ) The price is excellent, the quality is even more so. Take it and do not doubt the choice. P. S. if you still have doubts, then check out this very useful review: http://www. Youtube…

Pros
  • 1. Appearance of the camera. The camera fits comfortably in the hand. 2. Functions. In addition to the fact that the Nikon D5100 has many shooting modes (so the photographer has a place to roam), there is also a photo processing menu. It also includes standard processing (for example: size, brightness, etc.), and less common (such as: selective color and filter effects) 3. Image quality. The photo quality of this model is in no way inferior to other cameras (compared with Sony a33) 4. Full HD video. Definitely attracted by the quality of Full HD video. 5. The swivel screen makes the camera more practical and convenient to shoot. 6. Affordable price.
Cons
  • 1. The battery is rather weak. With constant use with short pauses (2-3 hours each), it lasts for about a day, one and a half.

Feel free to buy, for such a price, the quality is simply amazing.

I bought the device with a whale 18-55 a year ago for 25800. It showed itself well even in -30 frost (I went on a business trip to Noyabrsk; though I hid it under my jacket.) I also got into the rain with him. He endured a trip to the sea (dust and sand.). Once fell in a wardrobe trunk (lowepro) with a whale lens down. The lens cap broke the UV filter and the glass left a kotska on the lens enlightenment. He reported dense foam to the wardrobe trunk, just in case. For the first time, the whale…

Pros
  • - Photo quality - Flash - Value for money - HDR and D-Lighting - AF illuminator - compact.
Cons
  • - no "screwdriver" - small and dark viewfinder and no frames - controls - chip battery. You can’t put a Chinese craft for 10 bucks, but you need to buy the original for 2500. - battery handles, also on batteries and not on batteries. - a little small in the hand. (I am adding after 2 months. I found a chipped battery in DX, the price is 19 bucks, everything works clearly and is determined. The number of shots is about the same as with the original)

I am completely satisfied, item complies with description.

Well, I summarize: if in a nutshell - if it weren’t for broken pixels and the now expected, unpleasant expenses for their elimination in the future, then this is a very beautiful, good device that justifies its price. In general . in principle, you can sell this device at the end of the warranty. :))) And in other matters, I read on the forums that RAW converters can mask b / pixels.

Pros
  • I don’t even know what to write, I like everything about it - weight, appearance, ergonomics of controls, a wide range of features and functions that are open to this device, interface . but whatever you take - everything is done with oriental attentiveness, clarity and care. This camera is a pleasure to hold in your hands, to work with it.
Cons
  • and now about the inconveniences - 1) the flash is very strong, the child can be blinded, so turn the settings to the minimum; 2) for 5 and a half months - a broken pixel got out for the second time; 3) it is not entirely clear why the same manual was put in the kit 2 times; 4) viewNX2 (Nikon's RAW viewer) only allows you to watch. Of course, I understand everything, IT time is on the Internet, and everything you need is on the manufacturer's website . But in the bundle of the same Canon, everything you need is already there. For RAW, I recommend Faststone Image Viewer (IMHO).

Excellent quality, absolutely not expected for such a price.

Lightweight, compact, high quality rubberized plastic. Quality assembly, no backlash. Excellent picture quality. You need to have at least two lenses. Fix and telezoom. Well, a whale, perhaps, for starters. Don't skimp on the whale. Especially if the whale goes 18-105. Indeed, in LifeView mode, focus is not fast, but this is normal. All the same, we take the bulk of the pictures through the viewfinder, which is a bit dark and uninformative (the set shooting parameters are difficult to read). In

Pros
  • SLR, price, weight, compactness, swivel screen, good battery. Of course the quality of the pictures. Small noise at high ISO. Video quality.
Cons
  • No screwdriver, no autofocus light in LifeView. There is no additional screen. Video sound quality.

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Wonderful quality, one hundred percent satisfied!

I use it in conjunction with Nikor 50 1,8G AF-S, as I photograph mainly portraits. In principle, the whale lens is also very personal (for such and such a price !). Whale equipment should be bought for those who have not yet decided on focal lengths, or for those who are completely satisfied with it :) In my opinion, the device is very good for amateurs, especially if you buy a fast lens for it - the picture is impressive, because one of the main advantages of the device is an excellent matrix…

Pros
  • 1-good matrix, like the older model D7000, 2-constructive sound, though plastic, 3-all settings are carried out quite quickly (if you have experience with DSLRs), A 4-turn display with good picture quality is very convenient when shooting video (sometimes photos - if you need to shoot with your arms outstretched above you or low from the ground), 5-battery holds 600-700 shots (I rarely managed to discharge a fully charged battery to zero). 6-price is quite adequate.
Cons
  • after more than six months of using this camera, I did not find any serious shortcomings, given that this is still a camera from the budget segment. The only thing, perhaps, is that the grip is not the most confident, because the camera is very tiny and in the male palm the little finger does not fit on the handle. On the other hand, you can support with your little finger from below :)

The best thing for the money, I'm glad I chose this option.

This is my first SLR camera. I chose between Nikon D5100 and Canon 600D. I took Nikon, and I do not regret it. Why do I need 24 mp on Canon? They are useless. If you figure out the settings, study the necessary literature, you can take great photos, having only your own whale lens available. And if this is not enough for you, you can always upgrade your camera, buy additional lenses, a flash, a remote control, but I don’t need it yet.

Pros
  • Matrix, color reproduction, swivel screen (this is mega-convenient, and not only for shooting video), a lens with a stabilizer, HD video shooting. Not very heavy, I carry it everywhere with me. Can be held with one hand, it is very comfortable.
Cons
  • Battery doesn't last as long as I would like I like the menu more from Canon.

Everything is fine, I liked the product, I bought it for a reason.

I bought KIT 18-105 at the end of August. So far I don’t shoot much, mostly in auto mode, I don’t have time to deal with this instance. Before that, I used Pentax k-x for a month, it has a very convenient quick setup in manual mode, but auto mode, on the contrary, shoots so-so. In general, I like the camera, surprisingly, it shoots well in auto mode, but still it’s not for this. In auto mode, ISO lifts as much as possible, it can set 800-1600 during the day with a little cloudiness. Whale…

Pros
  • High working ISO
Cons
  • -No ISO change hotkey -When changing modes, their name is not written, only A R M, etc. -In Live view mode, AF slows down a lot, it’s impossible to remove a child. -In auto mode, can use the flash even in sunny weather.

Revainrating 5 out of 5

One of the best deals, glad I bought this.

Good SLR in this price range. Compared with sony a37. With the same matrix, it makes better pictures with insufficient lighting, the translucent mirror in Sony affects. I noticed a jamb behind Sonya, which lifts the ISO very much and the pictures turn out to be noisy. I tested kenon 600d, in general, the cameras are the same, but the difference in the matrix affects in places. In Nikon, it is newer and larger. In general, I advise you to take.

Pros
  • good automation, not noisy matrix, well-assembled case
Cons
  • did not reveal
