This camera is the first one I've had in a long time. First, it's easy to set up. I like the picture effects feature for photos already taken and you can save them separately from the original. Inserting the battery and memory card was easy - no forced insertion was required. Quality photos for everyday use or for special occasions were perfect for me. I was able to charge the battery through the camera. The cable was very short, but I can deal with that.

We bought this camera for our daughter's 11th birthday before she went to Paris, France . The images came out very clear and she liked that she could put it in her purse or pocket when not in use. The only downside is that there can sometimes be a long delay between taking a picture and seeing it on the display. But otherwise she loves him!

Everything has been fine so far, there is a learning curve and I haven't had time to really learn it yet. It's about a million times better than my flip phone and way better than my Kindle.
