This light bar is not what I expected. The hull is built quite well. I don't understand how this is viewed as a flood and spot beam. It just comes straight out. Big wiring problem. After removing it from the box it didn't work when I tried to test it. I had to open the flashlight and solder a new/heavier copper wire to the board as the original wire was loose. To start I tried to solder back the original wire but it wasn't enough to secure it well. 14 gauge wire worked great.

Sturdy build, built into my bumper since I bought it in early March. Sprinkled with salt, sand, snow and whatever a Canadian winter can throw at it and it still works. The only reason this isn't a 5 star review is because of the beam. There is a lot of light ahead, but most of the available light is lost in the void. A combo pattern that I expect will light up a lot off high tide and in front of the spot, but this light bar will illuminate the treetops even if it's 1 inch behind the bumper. TL;

I bought this to light up my Jeep's headlights and hopefully add some extra ditch lighting. I liked the fact that it has two mounting options and is quite compact compared to most other light bars. Unfortunately, the light seems to thin out right where my headlights fall. The light appears to spread out in a cone away from the car and is not really a point of light. I bought two 21 inch bar lights and installed them on the top and bottom of my grill bar. I think they're bright, but I've only noticed the added spread of the floodlight, not the increase in apparent distance compared to my high beams. I can't even see the hotspot when pointing at a wall 30 feet away. I'm a bit disappointed with it, but I like the price and the build quality doesn't feel cheap.
